July 2006
Welcome to our new website – www.cbbf.ca
Dear Followers of the CBBF, we now have a new website, on which we promise to provide pictures of not only the winners but many more competitors on stage in competition and candid shots behind stage, in preparation and during the entire event weekend, on our own site, meaning you no longer need to link onto other sites to find your favourite competitor, they will be on the same website, www.cbbf.ca.
It will take a few more days to provide the various documents and addition information, however we know you will enjoy the site.
For our CBBF athletes you may still enter the two remaining national events, Jim and Norm’s CBBF 2006 National World Qualifier by going to EVENTS and Harvey’s 2006 CBBF Canadian Bodybuilding Championships, also at EVENTS. The World Qualifier has an online registration form on Jim and Norm’s site and Harvey’s Canadians will be provided on our site very soon.
Please stay tuned for many changes, in addition we will have pics of the 2006 Canadian Figure, Fitness and Master Figure Championships, from our official photographer Garry Bartlett, on the website very soon.
Congratulations to each of the winners and all of the high quality athletes at the event held this past Canada Day weekend in Edmonton, AB, promoted by our friend Cabel McElderry.
For a first time, national, promoter the event centre was outstanding, the crowds enjoyed the large number of athletes and we are certain the athletes made many new friends.
Have a great summer and will see many of you in Toronto, ON during the weekend of August 5th for the 2006 CBBF National World Qualifier at which we will pick our Team Canada members to travel to one of the three IFBB World Championships.
This years World Qualifier will once again be a tested for performance enhancing drugs, with the CCES and the IOC providing the collection and testing services.
The CBBF Canadians will again be held in Saskatoon, SK, from September 15th to the 16th.
Yes, for the first time this event will take place over a two-day period.
Good luck, train safely and enjoy the sunshine.
