Upcoming CBBF Sanctioned Events
The CBBF is the oldest recognized federation in Canada which showcases the sports of
bodybuilding, fitness and figure (body fitness). By competing at various national level
events athletes contend for an IFBB Pro Card or a position as a member of Team Canada,
to compete at one of three annual IFBB Amateur World Championships.
Athletes may enter the following events to compete nationally. For those wishing to
compete for an IFBB Pro Card they would enter the CBBF Canadian Figure, Fitness and Master
Figure Championships or the CBBF Canadian Bodybuilding Championships. Those athletes
who wish to compete for a position on Team Canada would enter the CBBF National World Qualifier.
In addition the World Qualifier is provided the services of the CCES and IOC laboratory,
for the collection and testing of samples for performance enhancing drugs.
To qualify for the above events athletes should contact their provincial association.

Those athletes wishing to compete in any national level events should be aware of the
CBBF's current Official 2006 Rulebook.
Athletes competing in the IFBB World Championships are required to
read (and sign the printable version) of the CBBF Code of Ethics.
